OC Blue lenses reduce the impact that harmful high-energy visible (HEV) light has on our eyes. By reducing this ‘bad’ blue light, OC Blue lenses can help prevent retina damage caused by digital eyestrain.
Filtered Front Side
The front of the OC Blue lens includes a special, selectively reflective coating that helps to reduce the intensity of light associated with LED technologies, such as computers and other digital devices. It also reduces the intensity of some environmental light while outdoors.
OC Blue also enhances the transmission of the desired light to help improve acuity and contrast.
Safer Back Side
The back of the OC Blue lens includes Retinal Bliss HEV, the only anti-reflective coating that addresses the harmful and irritating effects of reflected HEV and ultraviolet (UV) light. By reducing backside reflection to less than 1%, OC Blue lenses improve comfort while reducing eye fatigue, headaches, and blurred vision associated with digital eyestrain.
